Jeriel & his PaPa

Yesterday (23 Oct 2005), I was feeding Jeriel his early dinner at 5pm. As usual he had his own bowl with spoon+fork to also feed himself. After sometimes, he got bored and refused to eat. He started to look for his father. Othniel was taking his nap. Next moment, Jeriel made a funny sound.

Mummy : Jeriel what is that sound?
Jeriel : (making his funny sound)
Mummy : Jeriel?
Jeriel : Papa (smile + giggle)

After sometimes, then I realized Jeriel was imitating his Papa’s snoring….Ha ha….

Later, Jeriel got bored again and then ….

Jeriel : Papa
Mummy : Papa cannot hear you because you are not loud enough.Better eat your food now, so that you can call Papa louder. Then Papa will come out from the room and play with you…

Jeriel took 2 mouthfuls then….

Jeriel : Papa ( a bit louder)
Mummy : Aiya, Papa still cannot hear…

This went on till he almost finish the whole bowl, this time he said he already full

Jeriel : Pau pau (patting his tummy)

Then , he patiently waited for me to clear the mess. When at last he was out of his booster seat, he went to the room right away and called his father. He almost cried when Othniel didn’t respond. So pitiful…..I woke Othniel up ….Jeriel held his father’s finger and walked towards his bicycle…..
