Baby Weight differences…

On the last check-up on 06Dec2012, gynae noted that baby #3 will be the heaviest among three kids. JL was the lightest followed by AL. Based on the last scan, baby #3 weight as per scan was already heavier than AL.

JL was a miracle baby who was less than 2kg via scan 2 days before he was delivered. He came out with slightly over the minimum weight and avoided the incubator. His weight was 2.58kg (above minimum 2.5kg).

As for AL, I prayed for a slightly over 3kg baby and her birth weight was about 3.18kg.

Initially I was concerned but I keep myself positive remembering God’s promise for Supernatural Childbirth. I remembered that AL was bigger than JL but the stitches were much lesser than JL.

God is great…all the time…

Hunting for baby name…

Hunting and searching for baby name can be tedious and also fun. The rules set by PaPa are:

- Bible name
- Hebrew name
- Ends with ‘EL’ because EL is Elohim which means God in Hebrew

In the Bible, most of the names are for boys (masculine). It is tricky when we need to get our girls’ name. AL’s name is actually a masculine name in the Bible without many people realizing thinking that we give her the name from the Disney Princess. It was also a coincident end with the same last 4 alphabets instead of just EL.

So, a lot people will be guessing that baby#3 will also has similar last 4 alphabets with her JL and AL… it will be a surprise….

It took us quite sometimes to get baby#3 name…

Expected Delivery Date….

Hmmm… this is very tricky while waiting for normal delivery signs to show. It is always hard to predict when. PaPa and I have been always on stand-by mode for this one.

JL
JL was 3 weeks early coming unexpected with early morning on Friday with water bag leaking. The first leaking was in the very early morning and PaPa said I was having urine leaking. The second one came later and I told him it was time. PaPa called gynae while I took my shower. Upon admission, JL was delivered by noon just before gynae went off to catch his flight to Singapore. I was on laughing gas and the nurses were surprised to see how fast JL was delivered because they were expecting him to be out latest in the evening or maybe the next day.

AL
AL was 2 weeks early and I remembered clearly it was Sunday. I couldn’t walk feeling like having period cramp. I was sitting in the car timing myself while PaPa and JL went to church. During that period, I sms my gynae who advised me to go to hospital which happened to be near the church to check if I am having contractions.

After church service, we went to collect cloth diapers which I ordered earlier for AL and went to hospital without any hospital bag. When I was there the nurse found I was having contractions and called my gynae. I wanted to go home to send JL to my parents’ place and also collect my hospital bag. However upon checking, I was already 6cm. Thinking there would be enough time, my gynae went home while PaPa went home to send JL to my parents’ place.

In less than 30 minutes, I was feeling the urge to push and coincidently a nurse came in and found that I was almost fully dilated. She began to shout the other nurse to call for my gynae. While to stop me from pushing, she folded my two legs to the side and gave me laughing gas to ease the urge to push. The moment was like eternity and when my gyane arrived, I was high.

AL was delivered less than 1 hour admission to the hospital. PaPa missed the whole event and saw her via mms photo. PaPa was just about to collect the hospital bag when he received the mms photo.

Baby #3
This would be a big questions mark… Will she be early 2 weeks like AL as now I am into 38-39 weeks? Or she will be 1 week early?

Cot Mobile – from JL to AL and now to baby

Back when we had JL, we bought this Fisher Price Cot Mobile which had music and light. The best thing was we were able to control via a remote control. There was option just music or just light. The music volume also had 3 levels. We bought it during sales.

It was a great toy to keep JL occupied on his bed especially at night and he would doze off. This same toy was carefully kept for AL and now baby#3. After so many years, the cot mobile was still in good condition and functioning well when we wet-up the baby cot last month.

I am wondering whether to keep it as memory or otherwise…

AL – Why people still call me MeiMei?

Remember how the name MeiMei just sticks to AL until now…and also in this post...

AL: Mummy why everyone still call me MeiMei even though I will be JieJie soon. Even KongKong and PohPoh also call me MeiMei

Mummy: People are used to call you MeiMei since you are baby. Let them call you MeiMei and Baby will call you JieJie ok?

AL: Than baby how?

Mummy: We call baby, Baby can?

AL – Loving and ‘Manja’

Both JL and AL have been kissing and hugging my tummy talking to baby especially AL. She was so looking forward and kept asking when baby would be out.

On the other hand, she also became more ‘manja’ that I discussed with PaPa to assist to take over giving her the attention because I would not want her to be left out when baby is here especially when I breastfeed baby.

She wanted someone to sleep with her on her bed and his PaPa had been her accompanying her. It was hard to get her sleep by herself nowadays even though now temporary JL would be sleeping in the room with her.

We hope she would get over this phase sooner or later…

Packing Hospital Bag

My hospital bag has been put into the car for almost 2 weeks. Besides my hospital bag, the kids had also packed their own bags. They would put the night in Yi Yee’s apartment when PaPa and I stay in the hospital. Besides packing the clothes, they even packed some board games and DVD to keep them occupy in Yi Yee’s apartment.

Baby #3 Check-up 30Nov2012 – 11th appointment

It was the 11th appointment and it will be weekly check-up. I have been experiencing cramps a lot that the gynae checked on the cervix after doing bacteria swap test. The cervix was still closed but it was already soften. Gynae had also issued an admission letter for me and told us to admit immediately if there is any sign of labor especially nowadays it has been raining heavily in the evening.

Based on my period cycle, my due date was supposed to be 26Dec2012. After reviewing the scans, the due date had move to few days earlier. Since my earlier 2 deliveries were early, so now I am consider on stand-by mode…

On Sunday 02Dec2012, we loaded the hospital bag into the car and PaPa had already fixed baby carseat into the car.

03May2012 – 1st appointment
25May2012 – 2nd appointment (55.9kg)
16June2012 – 3rd appointment (57.9kg)
19July2012 – 4th appointment (59.7kg)
25Aug2012 – 5th appointment (64kg)
21Sept2012 – 6th appointment (66.2kg)
05Oct2012 – 7th appointment (65.9kg) – Baby was about 1.5kg
19Oct2012 – 8th appointment (67.5kg) – Baby was about 1.86kg
02Nov2012 – 9th appointment (67.9kg) – Baby was about 2.2kg
16Nov2012 – 10th appointment (69.3kg) – Baby was about 2.6kg
30Nov2012 – 11th appointment (69.0kg) – Baby was about 3.0kg

We completed what need to be done with the last batch of Cloth Diapers washed and folder over the weekend. There is 1 small box of things which we plan to clear. We have been cleaning and throwing/giving away a lot of things to de-clutter the small apartment.

All the extra baby things except clothes such as baby tub, bouncinet, rocker, bedsheets etc have been transferred to KongKong and PohPoh’s apartment. Some of the herbs are being stored in our fridge with most of them in PohPoh’s fridge who would be the chef. The herbal bath packets are stored in my apartment.

On 28Nov2012 (Wed) nite, the kids helped to put the babycot sheet and bumper cots. All was up except the cot mobile which PaPa would need to get the batteries. This mobile cot was very sentimental to us because it was used since JL, AL and now baby#3.

On 01Dec2012 (Sat), at last the Christmas tree was set-up by the kids. They were excited. PaPa had also hang up big socks in the hall and this year we had 3 socks hanging up instead of 2.

I have been experiencing many episodes of cramps. Hopefully I would be able to know between false and real ones….

Baby #3 Counting Down…

Today is the end of 37 weeks and tomorrow will be the beginning of 38 weeks. Yes, we are counting because JL was 3 weeks early and AL was 2 weeks early.

Hospital bag is already being packed except for some last minute things to be put into the bag. PaPa has already set-up the baby carrier cum carseat in the car. JL will be sitting in between his two MeiMei.

Things pending
  • Setting up baby mattress and bed sheet
  • Washing all the Cloth Diapers (main task)
  • Clean-up baby’s room
  • Buying Magic Stick
  • Cleaning up the bath tub
  • Setting up Christmas tree and with one more pending gift to get
  • Sending baby bedsheet and bath tub to Grandparents’ apartment

Things to be done later
  • Sterilizing bottles and pump

As for me, walking around is a major task for me with much bigger and heavier tummy. I also have problem to sleep and moving on the bed from one side to another side plus waking from the bed is a main task for me. Due to this, I am having insufficient sleep thus feeling very tired.

Baby #3 Check-up 02Nov2012 & 16Nov2012 – 9th & 10th appointment

It has been one month since the last update on the baby check-up. This baby is for sure a much bigger baby than KorKor and JieJie. The last estimation of the weight was already heavier than KorKor whose birth weight was 2.58kg.

03May2012 – 1st appointment
25May2012 – 2nd appointment (55.9kg)
16June2012 – 3rd appointment (57.9kg)
19July2012 – 4th appointment (59.7kg)
25Aug2012 – 5th appointment (64kg)
21Sept2012 – 6th appointment (66.2kg)
05Oct2012 – 7th appointment (65.9kg) – Baby was about 1.5kg
19Oct2012 – 8th appointment (67.5kg) – Baby was about 1.86kg
02Nov2012 – 9th appointment (67.9kg) – Baby was about 2.2kg
16Nov2012 – 10th appointment (69.3kg) – Baby was about 2.6kg

Kids’ Rooms
The kids rooms were done except for the doors which were not painted. PaPa painted at least 2-3 layers on each wall including the ceiling. This time he painted one of the walls white so that the room would not be too green or pink. PaPa had already set-up the wall fan to replace the ceiling fan in the pink room. He also fixed up the light on the previous ceiling fan spot.

Currently, JL would be sleeping with AL in the pink room until AL would be big enough to sleep on the top bunk. JL’s room would be baby#3 temporary room. It would be good too since baby#3 would be waking up often for feeding, JL’s green room would be nearer for me to walk over plus so that JL and AL would have a good uninterrupted sleep.

Baby’s Things
Baby cot had been set-up. For the past few weeks, it was washing and washing and washing… Weather was not a good weather that our aircond in the hall had been on longer than usual so that the hot compressor would help in drying up the clothes. However, the clothes would only be semi-dry clothes. I would hang up the newly washed clothes while sending the semi-dry clothes to the dryer. Our hardly used dryer was also being maximized this time to dry up the semi-dry clothes. We had our 4 people clothes to wash including baby stuffs to be washed.

By this week, all the baby clothes had been washed except nursing pillow, diapers and baby bed sheets which would be the last few batches to be washed. PaPa would be busy sorting out and arrange the baby clothes. We also need to get the baby carrier and carseats to be washed and cleaned up. Besides that sterilizer, electric warmer and breastpump would need to be tested too.

We hope there would be some sun in order to send the inner part (coconut husk) of the baby mattress for sun bathing at PaPa’s brother’s house. The mattress cover would need to be washed.

There would be Pureen Warehouse this weekend and hopefully PaPa would be able to squeeze his time to get rubber cotsheets and soap powder. I would also need to get Magic Stick.

Christmas Presents
Christmas presents were all wrapped except a few more gifts which we need to purchase. We hope to be able to set-up the Christmas tree before baby#3 arrival.

Currently I am down with bad congestion and cough. Every cough would cause a piercing pain on one part of the tummy which was very painful.

Time is running short….baby#3 please hang on and wait until we get the apartment ready before your arrival.

Project: Shoe Cabinet rearrangement

As baby#3 delivery approaching, we decided we need to make space in our small shoe cabinet. We realized that there were a lot of different box sizes and it did look messy. We were trying to figure out how to maximize the space and make a row for baby#3.

For a woman, I didn’t have many shoes which were good. We bought a few shoe containers from Daisho to test on the shoe cabinet and found these containers were great. The containers were less bulky and transparent. After testing, we went back to Daisho and bought more to replace both PaPa and my shoes boxes. All the shoe boxes were flattened and sent to JL’s school for recycle. As for the kids, we decided to keep in their original boxes since the boxes were small.

The project completed successfully before end of October 2012. The next project would be a big project and PaPa might need to check http://www.reidsupply.com/ to get some parts and tools to make kids’ rooms swapping project.

KorKor-JieJie-MeiMei OR KorKor-MeiMei-Baby?

From the previous post, we wanted to call AL as JieJie. She was accepting well but it was hard to get other people to change. Everyone including kindergarten teachers still called her MeiMei because they knew her since she was a baby and MeiMei seemed to be her name. Sometimes I myself also still called her MeiMei that she corrected me “Mummy, I thought you are supposed to call me JieJie?”

We were thinking maybe we should call her MeiMei and the no3 as Baby… however; we would need to teach Baby to call MeiMei as JieJie….. Tricky…..

Baby#3 Check-up 19Oct2012 – 8th appointment

It was normal 2-weeks once check-up. I am getting much heavier till PaPa commented that I walk like a duck. I even had problem waking up from the bed in the morning. I even had to sit to do washing of plates/cups/bowls/pans etc.. and also to hang clothes.

03May2012 – 1st appointment
25May2012 – 2nd appointment (55.9kg)
16June2012 – 3rd appointment (57.9kg)
19July2012 – 4th appointment (59.7kg)
25Aug2012 – 5th appointment (64kg)
21Sept2012 – 6th appointment (66.2kg)
05Oct2012 – 7th appointment (65.9kg) – Baby was about 1.5kg
19Oct2012 – 8th appointment (67.5kg) – Baby was about 1.86kg

When gynae announced the baby’s estimated weight, I was silent and my gynae knew me too well. He mentioned and said “ I know what is in your mind and you are wondering how are you going to push this baby out… I know you too well, you cannot hide from me…”. For the last few visits, without fail he would give us 3D photos of baby. PaPa said the baby look like KorKor. I would have to dig out KorKor’s 3D photo to compare.

We managed to get some small things during Jusco Baby Fair Sales. We bought Nursing pads, Pigeon Liquid Cleanser, Napkin Cover (we bought 3x for each size) and Nappy Liner. We also collected the Nursing Pillow from our friend who happened to be both husband and wife also studied in the poly with PaPa and I.

PaPa was rushing to finish up his reports and hopefully he can start the kids’ room project soon….

Thankful for blessings being showered for baby#3

Since baby#3 would be our last one, we didn’t want to spend unnecessary plus we were trying to save as much as we can. Having this precious #3 is God’s blessing and we trust God will help us. Besides all the discomfort of this pregnancy due to age such as backache etc… God has been great to us…

**********

BabyCot
The last time when we had AL, a friend lent us a babycot to be placed in KongKong and PohPoh’s apartment. After that we returned back to her. Recently, when she found that I was pregnant, she said that she just gave away to charity.

We decided to pray and see how it goes. We had plan B in place just in case. Our plan B would be letting baby sleep on an adult single bed with bed rail so that our babycot can be put in KongKong and PoPoh’s apartment. However, deep in my heart, I would love to have baby sleeping in babycot so that she can sleep in the nice bed sheets like her KorKor and JieJie.

It was a surprise sms I got yesterday when a friend ask me whether I want to have her daughter’s convertible babycot. It was more that I prayed for, a convertible babycot which baby#3 can use till toddler…

Nursing Pillow
This was similar to AL’s time where a friend lent me the nursing pillow. After that, the nursing pillow was sold to another friend. I was already plan to use multiple normal pillows to replace the nursing pillow when the friend who bought the nursing pillow offered to give it to me as a blessing…

BumboSeat
This was just a wish list and not priority because JL and AL didn’t use that. I wish to have this so that baby#3 can be sit up playing with her KorKor and JieJie or see her KorKor and JieJie playing…while I am busy with other work… (When she is ready to sit on it)

However, for the price, I would not want to spend since it would be for a short while. Another wonderful friend said I can have the Bumbo on loan until baby#3 outgrown and return back to her. This was a wonderful piece of news.

Bouncinet
Same case as Babycot and Nursing Pillow, the last time the extra bouncinet was on loan too… Just during lunch time (30 minutes ago), I got a message from a friend who told me to come and collect her bouncinet. Now we would have extra one bouncinet to put in KongKong and PohPoh’s apartment.

Carseat
For the first 1 year, we had enough carseats for baby to be used on PaPa’s car, KongKong’s car and my car. However, once baby#3 outgrown from the baby carrier, we only had 2 convertible carseats. Having to change convertible carseats in apartment would be a challenge especially with my kancil where there was no safety belt in the car. PaPa had made a modification on the kancil to ensure that the carseat is safely fixed in the car and it would be a hassle to transfer it often. It was something we would just manage when the time comes.

Somehow, a friend asked whether I want a used convertible carseat few months back.

**********
Time is running fast as my check-up is  two weeks once… PaPa is now into making adjustment with the kids’ room as both rooms need to be repainted. Once the rooms are settled, time to take out baby’s clothes and CDs for washing… We also need to sort out how many bottles to get plus some other small things such as bottle cleanser, nursing pad, maternity pad, confinement herbs, herbal bath etc…

Baby#3 Check-up 05Oct2012 – 7th appointment

I was officially 7 months and the routine check-up had increased from monthly to 2 weeks once.

After sick from the previous week with high fever, cough and nose congestion, I had not recovered from my cough. It was a painful chesty cough when I met my gynae on 05Oct2012. My weight dropped during the check-up but gynae was happy that baby was still growing despite mummy being sick and she was more than 1 kg that time. I hope my cough would get better.

My backache was killing me…well well…age is catching up… I never have this problem with the 1st and 2nd pregnancy…

03May2012 – 1st appointment
25May2012 – 2nd appointment (55.9kg)
16June2012 – 3rd appointment (57.9kg)
19July2012 – 4th appointment (59.7kg)
25Aug2012 – 5th appointment (64kg)
21Sept2012 – 6th appointment (66.2kg)
05Oct2012 – 7th appointment (65.9kg)

A lot of things we need to do in the apartment. PaPa was waiting for JL’s exam to be over on 05Oct2012 and PaPa’s fieldwork to be completed. Tentatively, he would be starting his project by next week. I have yet to bring all the baby things and clothes out pending PaPa’s project.

Office workload is also pilling as I am chasing for time to complete all the assignments before my confinement….

3rd Pregnancy update…

I will usually have the monthly update upon seeing gynae but this time blame on bad mummy who is lacking in updating the progress…

Last Friday 21Sept2012 we visited the gynae and I was at 26 weeks (about 6 ½ months). Dr was happy with baby progress. Apart from the uncertainties in the initial previous post sharing, we were glad that the placenta has moved up. Initially it was lying low which the Dr was a bit worried because there will be potential bleeding during the last tri semester and I will need to go for c-section instead of normal. Praise the Lord that during early of the 2nd tri, the placenta moved up.

Gynae anticipated that this baby would be bigger than the KorKor and JieJie by the estimation of the weight at 26 weeks about 9xxgm (almost 1kg). He said baby would be in normal range of weight, most probably about 3.4-3.5kg.

Some of the dates which I would like to keep record:

21Apr2012 – Tested Positive
03May2012 – 1st appointment
25May2012 – 2nd appointment (55.9kg)
09June2012 – a great friend passed to me ‘Earth Mama, Baby Angel Organic Morning Sickness Tea’ to help my extreme bad sickness
16June2012 – 3rd appointment, did nuchal scan was good but due to age, did the next step of blood test to confirm which cost a bomb to the pocket (57.9kg)
19July2012 – 4th appointment (59.7kg)
25Aug2012 – 5th appointment (64kg)
21Sept2012 – 6th appointment (66.2kg)

Hmm...I had forgotten what my initial weight was because it would usually fluctuate between 52-55kg. If I would to take the initial weight as 53kg, in total I had gained 13.2kg which was more than the KorKor and JieJie. No wonder, baby movements were very strong and she had not much space to move in the tummy.

As for AL, during the last check-up, total weight gained was 12.8kg. AL’s birth weight was 3.28kg.

As for JL, I didn’t keep track diligently but I guess total weight gained was lesser than AL’s time because my tummy was super small than it didn’t look like I was due plus I had a few maternity clothes hand-down to me which I was unable to wear because they were too big on me. JL’s weight was 2.58kg

Kids’ Rooms adjustment again…

We thought 2011 will be our last renovation for the kids… However with JL asking whether we would be having another sibling, it took us some time to think and plan.

The only way was since JL’s room is a bit bigger than AL’s, the plan to make space would be to have both JL and AL’s current beds stack up as double bunk because their beds were originally stackable. The two beds would stack in JL’s room and for AL’s room, we would get a bunk bed which PaPa would modify to have the study table and book shelves on the lower bunk of the bed.

So the plan would be :--

If boy
1. Stack AL’s bed on JL’s bed in JL’s current room
2. JL would sleep on the top bunk and Baby#3 would sleep on the lower bunk with bed rail
3. AL would get a new bed which PaPa would modify later for her when she is big enough to sleep on the top bunk into top bunk bed+study table on the lower bunk
4. The boys would have to share the cupboard and study table

If girl – this will be more challenging
1. Repaint the room – JL’s current room from green to pink and vice versa on AL’s current room
2. Stack AL’s bed on JL’s bed in JL’s current room (which would be the girls’ room)
3. Temporary JL would sleep on the top bunk while AL on the lower bunk in the girls’ room (pink colour)
4. Baby#3 would sleep in AL’s current room (which would be already painted in green as JL’s future room) either on the cot (if we can find anyone giving away a baby cot because KorKor and JieJie’s babycot would be in KongKong and PohPoh’s apartment) or on a new single bed with bed rail.
5. When AL is big enough to sleep on the top bunk than JL would change place with Baby#3. PaPa would than modify the single bed to JL’s dream bed where he would sleep on top bunk and have his study table + book shelves at the bottom bunk.
6. The advantage would be Baby#3 would not distrurb KorKor and JieJie at night when she wakes up for her feeding especially during the first year.
7. However, JL had to ‘tahan’ sleeping in pink room…

With the last check-up gynae saying Baby#3 is a girl, PaPa has to plan for the big project…

MeiMei = JieJie

AL has always being the MeiMei since she was the only girl in both families. JL’s and AL’s kindy’s teachers who have seen her since baby too called her MeiMei instead of AL.

When we found that the next one would be a girl, we told her we have to call her JieJie instead. Initially she said call her MeiMei until baby is born than only call her JieJie. Then, we explained to her that baby would get confuse and how we are going to address baby when we talk to baby while baby in Mummy’s womb? She was in deep thought and at last agreed to be called JieJie.

It was a lot of adjustment for her and also us because we were so used to call her MeiMei… Being the only girl who has all the attention, it would be a bit of challenge to everyone in order for her to feel that we still love us even when baby arrive. She has become super ‘manja’ and wanted one of us to sleep with her every night until she zzzz…..

We hope she would be a good and loving JieJie as her KorKor who has been a great and loving KorKor since AL was in the womb until now…

Our third precious blessing…

JL’s prayer…

It was a journey for the whole family. JL wanted two more siblings – one boy and one girl so that he and AL each has a companion… We had to explain to him that my age is catching up and it would be impossible to have another 2. Then, he asked how about non-identical twin. He started to change his daily prayer from healthy baby boy and girl to healthy twin boy+girl. At last we negotiated with him saying that our apartment would be just nice to have another sibling. He requested for baby boy and AL requested for baby girl.

As for PaPa and me, we were ok as long as baby is healthy. I told PaPa it would be great if baby is girl so that AL would have someone to play with since PaPa’s elder brother had 3 boys.

The right age…

About 2 years before that, I sms my gynae seeking his advise what would be the maximum age he would recommend for a woman to have baby and at that time he told me 44 years old. During that time we were not sure so I have been taking folic acid for more than 1 year just in case we wanted to have our third one, we could do it anytime. On cross road...

The right time…

Last year I purchased Gardasil at a good price and my last dosage was in Dec2011. I sms my gynae and he advised to try one month after the last dosage which would be end of Jan2012. We decided to try for the third and last one. We managed to figure out how to rearrange our apartment to make space for one more… to be shared later.

Being born in dragon year, I didn’t want my next baby to be in this year because of all the challenges I had been through to get place in local university. Yes, I managed to survive. PaPa wanted to have this year baby to keep the kids’ age gap to 4+ years. He said his son/daughter would make it through the challenges being born in this year…

We tried as per gynae advise… it was not immediately and as much as I hope it will not be a December baby. Besides that, also both JL and AL were born before my birthday. Nevertheless, God knows what is best… December would be a better month for the baby. After thinking over it, God is indeed great because it would a school holiday that I would need to rush both JL and AL to prepare for school every morning plus no exam. It would a great time for family to bond together and spend time together with the newborn.

It is positive…

When we found out positive in Apr2012, I was super nervous because of my age plus past experience. We were comforted when the baby’s heart was detected after the 2nd check-up. I had nuchal scan which was a good result and due to my age, Dr decided a further blood test would be better. (During AL’s time, I did only nuchal scan without having to go through blood test). The blood test was expensive.

2 sacs?

At first, gynae detected 2 sacs where only one sac had heartbeat and the other one was empty. I didn’t experience any bleeding. Gynae suspected that maybe I may have twin (I remember JL’s prayer…) in the beginning but at the end only one survive… The sac just diminished on the following month check-up.

Body adjustment…

I went through 1st pregnancy before 30s and 2nd pregnant in early 30s. Now with the current pregnancy after mid 30s, it was really different.

Initially, I was having low placenta which we were praying hard for it to go up to avoid unnecessary bleeding in 3rd tri plus c-section. During the last month check-up in Aug12, gynae confirmed that the placenta was already moved up which was a good news.

My indigestion and heartburn was worst than I experienced during AL’s time. It was soo bad that I cannot do laundry, cannot cook and cannot bath AL because of the smell. I couldn’t accept the smell of the softlan, oil and AL’s top to toe body shampoo. I felt soo nauseated and extreme tired. My body also was aching very badly. During one of my check-up, my gynae held both my hands and told me to stop after this 3rd one seeing how tired I was with my panda eyes.

At 6 months this week, PaPa was laughing at the way I was walking like heavy duck… My backache also got quite bad plus I was not able to stand too long because I would feel pain at the bottom part of the body. When I asked my gynae, he told me, it was due to age….

Baby?

On the last check-up in Aug2012, gynae confirmed the baby is girl. Was JL’s disappointed? Initially yes but then he cheered up knowing he would be getting his mini room when his two little sisters were bigger where we would get him a bunk bed with his study table under the bunk bed… Yes, we especially PaPa would be embarking a big project on the kids’ room….

Why never update?

I was soo sick and busy with kids, home and work….that I didn’t have time to update in blog and also FB... . My office workload was and is still demanding. My body immune was low due to tiredness, stress and age…

I am very sorry that I didn’t announce… Baby’s due in mid December 2012 this year… I will update more on the next post….this is a long-winded post….
