EL’s Baby Dedication – 25May2013

Long overdue post…

EL had her baby dedication on 25 May 2013 in church. On the actual day, both JL and AL went to Kids’ Service later so that they could join with the baby dedication ceremony. The church staff reserved 4 seats for us. Coincidently, Papa was on duty on the same day. After the worship, PaPa walked down from the stage to join us with the baby dedication ceremony. Our cell leader (both husband and wife) came to pray for us and gave EL a gift. Our district leader too came and join with his wife to pray for us. We felt so bless…

Yes, I had to send him early to church and home with kids. Besides that, since it was EL’s big day, I had to make sure all of them look good and presentable. We went to Kids’ Service to get both kids to mark their attendance and get their name tag first before going to the main service. After the baby dedication ceremony, I sent both of them to their service and carried EL in Boba to Infant room. It was a similar routine as ‘Going to church alone with 3 kids’.

EL’s Full Moon

EL would be 30 days old on 10Jan2013. PaPa and I would stick to the simple way of celebrating her one month old by distributing full moon box. As for those who we would be unable to deliver especially outstation, we would get voucher to be posted to them.

After survey in the internet, we settled with a company who would deliver all the boxes to our apartment at no charges. PaPa made a phone call to make booking and payment would be made upon delivery. I also called to order for the vouchers.

Initially, we thought of having dinner for relatives in Klang Valley but upon calculation, we found that this would burst our budget. We decided to cancel our plan.

Our little princess EL would be 1 month old….

Happy Mother’s Day 2012

We usually go to Saturday evening service. However since it was Mother’s Day weekend, there was no Kids and Toddler service on Saturday evening, instead a combined service for the kids on Sunday 11am service.

On Mother’s Day morning, JL went for his basketball lesson. After his lesson, he took his fast shower and off we went to church.

After church, we went to 1 Utama to catch movie. We promised the kids after JL’s school exam, we would go for the movie ‘Avengers’. We got tickets for 3pm show. Our lunch was a fast one in McD.

It was a fantastic show and AL was enjoying the popcorn. We bought the Lite & Sweet one. Towards the end of the show, AL was busy singing song that at some point I had to close her mouth because it was getting too loud…

Movie done, we went to walk around and as usual kids would have their one round walk in Toys R Us.

Our Mother’s Day dinner for that day was Pasta Zanmai, just four of us. Then, the kids had the favorite Japanese ice-cream wafer from Shojikiya.

It was a long long day and we decided to drive home….

The best gift for Mother’s Day was to see DH and kids all healthy and happy…

Note: JL did a beautiful handmade card for me… AL did a mini hanger with a photo of both of us… I have yet to take the photo of both gifts yet…

Blessed Mother’s Day to all the wonderful mummies ….

14Feb2012-Our Valentine

It was a normal working day. After a long day fire-fighting in the office, I was looking forward to go home and see my family.

When I arrived home, I realized that PaPa was not home and kitchen was as if was left while preparing some food. I wonder… I took my shower and fetch AL from my parents place. AL presented this for PaPa and Mummy.

As I came home, I could smell something very nice from the kitchen. PaPa was back from buying some of the ingredients. He was cooking his special cabonara pasta. Yummy... the best…

We had a fast and early dinner together before JL’s tuition teacher arrived. While JL had his tuition and AL sat down on the table doing her writing, PaPa and I went out to redeem Maxis Valentine ChaTime Buy one free one. Early of the day, PaPa bought ChaTime for the kids and kept in the fridge to surprise them.

It was a short drive just two of us to get our drink and drive home… A simple yet meaningful day for both of us and the kids.

Happy Mother’s Day – 08May2011

Happy Mother’s Day to all the wonderful mummies…

JL did a card for me…let the photo speak the detail…

On 08May2011, both JL and AL were on the stage in church presenting 2 songs to all mummies with their friends. They had to sing for 2 services and were in church as early as 7am on that day.

I hope you will enjoy the songs especially the 2nd one. My heart cried when I saw the kids singing on the stage with all their heart. PaPa managed to capture the moment using the camcorder which we bought last year.

The first song was

Touch your finger (Click here or here to listen to the song)
Touch your finger to your nose
Bend from your waist way down and touch your toes
And when you come up slowly start to sing
And say to the Lord 'I love You'

I love You

I love You
Say to the Lord 'I love You'
I love You
I love You
Say to the Lord 'I love You'

Reach your hands up to the skies

Look to the left and right and blink your eyes
And when you turn around
You start to sing
And say to the Lord 'I love You

And the 2nd song was

You’re my Mom (Click here to listen to the song)

Verse 1
Mother’s Day has come again
So I want to sing a song today
For my mom who’s always there
To tell her how I feel for her
And let her know that
She’s important in my life

Year by year her love remains
Proven by sacrifice she made
Reaping all the fruits today
I pray the opening of heaven’s door
And let the blessings of the Lord
Be hers always

Chorus
Mom, your love, so warm so sweet
You love me still the same through all the years
Sometimes I broke your heart
And that’s the hardest part
And still you love me
With the love that never fails
For I’ve made up my mind
For the rest of my life
I will love you, honor you
And give you the best
Cause you’re my mom

Verse2
To a special woman in my life
I would like to sing a song today
For my mom who’s always there
To tell YOU how I feel for YOU
And let YOU know that
YOU’RE important in my life

Year by year YOUR love remains
Proven by sacrifice YOU made
Reaping all the fruits today
I pray the opening of heaven’s door
And let the blessings of the Lord
Be YOURS always

Bridge
Through all the storms and pain endured for me
You make me be the best that I can  be
