What happen ???

I wanted sooo badly to find time to write something but time was and still soo limited for me.

I am in an Upgrade Project in my company and have been going in and out during Saturdays including May 1. I will be in office this weekend too.

Othniel was on the ship uncontactable from April 24 , 2006 (Monday). He was supposed to be on the ship for 1 month. To make the matter worst, I fell sick on April 28, 2006 (Friday night) with bad cold, nasty cough and fever.

I almost had to bring Jeriel to office on May 1, 2006 (Monday) even though I was not feeling well. Thank goodness, my youngest sister volunteer to drop by my apartment at 8am to babysit Jeriel. I came back at almost 2:30pm , Jeriel was taking his nap. My sister managed to bath Jeriel, play with Jeriel and ate lunch with Jeriel.

Thinking that Jeriel is sleeping, I took full dose of cough mixture (I didn't dare to take full dose for the past few days to avoid drowsiness then Jeriel will have problem waking up his mummy). Guess what ? Jeriel woke up and demanded me to read book for him. I was too drowsy that I ended up sleeping. When I woke up, Jeriel was sleeping on his bed. That night, my sister's boyfriend moved Jeriel's carseat from Othniel's car to their car. Then, they drove us to have dinner in 1 Utama. We left the carseat in their car just in case that I will be too late to fetch Jeriel for the next few days, they will be able to fetch Jeriel back to my apartment and let him sleep on his bed while waiting for me coming back from office.

All sudden on Tuesday (May 2, 2006), I received a sms from Othniel said that he will be back that night due to some problem on the ship. It is a blessing because he will require to go back to the ship on May 15, 2006 which happens to be the end of the big project which I am on now. However more things are lining up after that, then I will have to plan it myself…

Thankfully that even though Jeriel is a very active boy –climbing everywhere and sometimes falls etc. He is quite an independent boy playing by himself while I take my bath and do laundry. He will keep his toys with mummy helping him most of the time. He will try to help to keep dry clothes from the balcony to the sitting room (which sometimes ended up in a big mess – there is a Chinese saying that 'the more he helps, the busier I become'. No matter how tired and how much trouble he created, Jeriel has indeed bring lots of joy to my life. Because of him that I am still able to carry on even though sometimes life is that smooth… I believe all mothers will agree with me..
