Our trip to Port Klang for Doulos

Another outdated news…just to keep a record…

Got news that Doulos would be in Port Klang until 31 July 2006. We decided to bring Jeriel to see the ship. It is located in West Port at Star Cruise Terminal. PaPa knew his way well. We left home about 4.45pm on Saturday 8 July 2006 and arrived there close to 6pm..

KongKong and PohPoh also followed us. YiYi (Mummy's younger sister) and Uncle Raymond followed in another car

It was a great experience for Jeriel who was very excited. We took some photos (will update later). While PaPa and Mummy were looking around the books, Jeriel was enjoying his time with KongKong. KongKong spoilt Jeriel with ice-cream and pop-corn. Mummy was not happy because it would spoil Jeriel's dinner later.

Surprisingly, it was not that very crowded but it was very hot and stuffy inside the ship (especially inside where the bookstore was located). So, the tip to other who plan to go is wear cotton t-shirt or singlet.

PaPa and Mummy bought a few books for Jeriel and PaPa. PaPa also bought some CDs and cassettes.


After that, we went to Pandamaran, Klang for Bak Kut Teh. Then, we wanted to have a walk in Jusco Klang but after going through a few rounds hunting for car park, we gave up and decided to go to Tesco Shah Alam since Tesco closed later.

Jeriel was extremely active and could not sit still. While standing in the trolley, he would grasp anything which came by. He even took a fresh peach and wanted to take a bite. KongKong and PohPoh were getting tired keeping an eye with Jeriel while pushing the trolley. Later, Mummy told KongKong that, Jeriel had too much sugar in his blood today due to ice-cream and pop-corn. We usually give me ice-cream but not ice-cream plus pop-corn.


On 22 July 2006, Saturday, we went to Doulos again. This time was to bring MahMah (Jeriel's Paternal Grandmother). Since TaiPak (PaPa's elder brother) was working, so PakLeong (PaPa's SIL) and Topaz (PaPa's nephew) came along.

PaPa had to move Jeriel's carseat to TaiPak's Citra. Then all of us fit into one car and went to Port Klang.

Wah, this time was not good. We have to queue for quite sometime and it was crowded in the ship. PakLeong bought lots of books and Jeriel was very upset. Why? Jeriel was coughing and he wanted ice-cream very badly. It was humid inside and he got very upset because he was not allowed to eat ice-cream.

After a long, hot, sweaty and crowded trip, we went to Pandamaran for dinner….
