Miri – 22-25 Sept 2007 (Part 1)

Wow, didn’t realize my post is delayed about 1 month old already. Actually why we were missing of action because we were in Miri. This is a follow-up after the 1st Happening.

22 Sept 2007
We went to Miri for Sam Yee and Sam Yee Cheong wedding dinner on 22 Sept 2007. We took the first flight in KLIA at 10.05am on 22 Sept 2007. KongKong, PohPoh, Yi Yee, Sam Yee and Sam Yee Cheong flew the night before on Airasia.

Jeriel was very excited because the last time he sat was when he was a baby on Airasia. This time, we took MAS and bought the discounted tickets during the same time
Agnes bought for her tickets Langkawi trip.

The first flight to Miri had a transit in Kuching airport. We arrived Miri at 1.35pm. Jeriel was so happy and insisted to pull his bag.
KongKong was waiting at the arrival hall while Sam Yee and Sam Yee Cheong were waiting in the Toyota Unser outside. Sam Yee Cheong’s father managed to borrow a Toyota Unser for all of us to use.

We stayed in Imperial Hotel. It was a nice room, actually 2 rooms apartment with microwave, stove, aircond, water heater, TV, dining table, sofa and even a washing machine. It was originally built as an apartment but was not 100% sold off so it was converted to hotel. No wonder, when we were walking in the aisle, we noticed some apartment has grille.

Once we arrived at the hotel, we took simple packed lunch and Sam Yee Cheong brought this fruit call ‘talam’ which looked like jackfruit but smaller seed.

Then we took a short rest. Yi Yee helped Mummy to make-up for the dinner that night. The dinner was in the same hotel. We can just walk down to the ballroom without having to rush.

All of us sat on the main table with Sam Yee and Sam Yee Cheong. After dinner, all of us went back and sleep. (Photos for the dinner all with PaPa’s handphone and Sam Yee Cheong’s camera) .

Check out Part 2 and Part 3 ..to be continue.....
