JL 2nd Birthday Wish – Hot Dog! It’s JL’s Birthday

JL 1stbirthday wish was fulfilled earlier with his wonderful kitchen set blessed by KongKong, PohPoh, Yi Yee, Sam Yee and Sam Yee Cheong.
What was his 2nd wish?He wanted cupcakes to distribute out instead of cakes. Mummy was not sure who to order because cupcakes can be quite expensive. Sam Yee’s colleague’s wife was running from home. It was actually joined business with sis-in-law and mother-in-law. We paid them a visit and discussed.

Each of the mini cupcakes was RM 1.30. Then we decided lollipop cookies which was RM 1.50 each instead of giving party bags. JL chose Mickey Mouse and the gang for his cupcakes and as for the cookies, he wanted the ice-cream shape. We specially requested the cake/cupcakes/cookies to be less sugar. Well, of course the soft icing on the cupcakes would still be sweet.

We had two batches – one for the church nursery and the other one for his kindy. Besides that we also order homemade carrot cake for KongKong and JL. All was delivered on three different times to make sure the cake/cupcakes were fresh.

JL and his cupcakes+lollipop cookies on 16Mar08 in church nursery. JL was happily distributing each of the cupcakes and lollipop cookies to his friends and teachers. Each cupcakes had a royal icing image on each cupcake. Check out here for the cake detail..
JL with his cupcakes and cookies on 19Mar08 in kindy. He also insisted to distribute each of the cupcakes to his classmates and teachers. The cookies, we requested to have them without the stick which turned out to be nice and each of his classmates was given one cookie to replace the party bags when they went home.
On 19Mar08 night, KongKong, PohPoh and MahMah dropped by to see JL blew his last batch of cupcakes which we ordered extra. Tai Pak, Tai Pak Leong, Topaz and Yi Yee couldn’t make it, so we passed the cupcakes to KongKong, PohPoh and MahMah to bring back for them. Sam Yee and Sam Yee Cheong dropped by at midnight after Church Life Group to have JL’s birthday cupcakes.
