Bargain, Sales, Best Buy

PaPa and Mummy would always hunt for sales to get the best buy of the things we planned to buy. It may sound troublesome and a lot of work but we didn’t mind doing it to save some money.

Most of Jeriel’s things were blessing from family member, hand-down from friends, and warehouse sales and
best buy. Mummy considered so blessed to have wonderful friends who offered to give or lend some of the things which Mummy needed like maternity clothes, playpen, bath tub and many other stuffs just to mention a few.

For example, Jeriel’s shoe, don’t be surprised if Mummy said Jeriel had shoes which were a few sizes bigger. Shoes could be an expensive, so when there were good bargain, we would buy and keep first. This was to avoid if Jeriel outgrown from his shoe and we had to do shoe hunting which would end up paying more for it.

Even before Jeriel was born, we already got most of his toys from warehouse which would last him for long time. So, now we didn’t have to buy any toys for him. He might not have lots and lots of toys but enough to keep him occupied. Toys which he had outgrown, would be carefully packed back to keep for Jeriel’s siblings.

Just be careful with warehouse and sales because not all things would be that cheap and not worth getting it. When we planned to buy anything, we make sure that we had a long discussion whether we needed the things and can we afford to pay for it. This was to make sure we do not get regret buying the particular item. Having unused things lying around in our small apartment which would not be only wastage but also caused messiness in our apartment due to space constraint.

This applied to all others things also not only on Jeriel’s things.

Do we sound ridiculous?

Wow, both of you really have good planning...definitely not for me...but, of course I love shopping at warehouse sales, but, but again, bringing kids alone, definitely I won't manage to buy anything at the end.....

I think you're really practical in that sense. One place to buy quality clothes for lower price is at Brands outlet ikano. The clothes there are of good quality and that's where I get all the clothes for iliya.

Don't buy from Hallmark. I've bought things from that store twice, and both times the items deteriorate in a short while. Such a waste of money.

you should count your blessings, my dear...know why some couple have not had babies yet? it's not they can't...it's because they can't afford to have one! noticed why some are still not married or married late? not that they prolonged it, simply because they can't afford!
so if we are bale to provide a good moderate living for our kid(s), i said we are already doing a great job!
thumbs up to all parents who think of their children's future!

I love bargains too! This is the right way to bring up kid. I think you are very good! My hubby will be very glad if I can do what you do. But I just have no self control when it comes to shopping. I hate myself for that, really, I mean it.
