Pregnancy check-up on 24 May 2008

Last Saturday was a fast check-up and Mummy now on 2 weeks once check-up. How time flies….

Baby is developing well and very active. She is quite a big baby compared to her brother Jeriel. Now wonder her movement was more active and aggressive maybe lack of space in Mummy’s tummy. Gynae commented that Mummy’s tummy was one sided due to baby’s weight when he wanted to start to scan.

• Mummy was 29+ weeks
• Mummy's weight : 62.5kg (an increase of 0.5kg from last weight on 09 May 2008, total increase of 9.6kg since 24 Jan 2008)
• Baby’s Weight was about 1.5kg (an increase of about 0.4kg from the last weight on 09 May 2008)

From the weight, looks like majority of Mummy’s weight gain actually went to baby. Mummy’s next check which was supposed to be next 2 weeks had to be extended to 3 weeks because next 2 weeks check-up happen to fall on Agong’s Birthday (Public Holiday).

Overall, Mummy’s cough had recovered. Mummy’s tummy was no longer ‘angry’ red and now it was brown patches. Mummy was just advised to continue putting the ointment to moist the tummy. Mummy went to Mummy’s friend’s pharmacy the next day to get the ointment but minus the steroid since Mummy didn’t experience very very bad itchiness. The earlier ointment U-Court contained Urea+min Steroid. The minimum Steroid was to ease itchiness. So, Mummy’s friend suggested that Mummy used the ointment with Urea to moist only and steroid would not be required since the itchiness was not that bad anymore.
