Happy 1st Month to AL

AL is 1 month old today. She is always her KorKor's Princess. JL adores her a lot and kisses her lot. She is 100% on breast milk. She will cry when she is hungry, wanted to be burp, when she is making either her big or small business. She will get very upset when she wants to drink milk and do her business at the same time. AL is also getting use with Mummy's very short nipple.

Mummy has yet to weight her this week but as on 09 Aug 2008, she was 3.95kg (Her birth weight was 3.23kg on 20 July 2008).

Mummy hopes to be able to blog often but not this week because Mummy is busy with JL who is on kindy holidays and with AL.

Breastfeeding? Mummy’s breast timing a bit off and hope to slowly get adjusted especially when Mummy started work. Mummy went to see Lactation Consultant last Friday for help. A lot of wonderful mummies had been calling Mummy to help Mummy which Mummy was soo touch. Lactation Consultant advised Mummy to use cold towel instead of hot because hot would over stimulate the breast to produce more milk which cause Mummy’s breasts engorged all the time, whereas cold towel would reduce the swell and pain. So far, no fever even Mummy has not been pumping for 2-3 days but Mummy’s breast still full. Mummy also would be practicing the massage tips from Joyce and Karen. Will try to keep you all update on the progress as soon as Mummy can find time…
