Credit Card business had dropped since the introduction of the government tax. Many banks’ credit card processing had dropped due to low demand. However, would this trend continue or consumers would learn to accept the extra charges and used the credit card for convenience purpose.
One advantage of the charges was consumer would have fewer credit cards to manage which meant less debt.
How about you? How do you manage your credit cards?

We use credit cards for convenience, to get discounts, spend within our budget and always pay off all balances on time.
We prefer to have separate cards for different purposes, so that it is easier to analyse our expenses. E.g. for Mummy, Daddy, baby and household. Different cards also have different advantages, e.g. rebates at favourite stores and restaurants.
However, with the additional charge, we would cancel some cards and stick to only 1-2 cards. Hard to make a choice.
