Snatch Thief

What a day !!!! Last Monday 4 Sept 2006, I was having lunch with my colleague in SS2 , PJ. Then, as we were crossing the main road to my colleague's car, a very fast single ridden motorcycle came across and took my small hand pouch. That Indon guy must be very experienced because at the same hand I was holding 2 plastic bags of food. Both my colleague and I were in shock and speechless. I could feel my whole body shaking. Quickly I used my colleague's handphone and started to call Othniel. Othniel forwarded all the banks telephone number and I busy calling all the banks. As for my handphone, it was registered under Othniel, so he called to cut it and went to Maxis centre to get a new SIM card for me. After calling all the banks, my colleague and I went to the Police Station to make a report. The police asked me whether I need to go hospital and surprisingly I was not injured. It seemed, before me, a lady gold chain was snatch in PJ nearby and now in hospital with injuries…

However, the most hassle part was to get the replacement for my IC, Driving License, ATM and Credit Cards. Another things which I was sad , was all the precious telephone number in my old handphone. So, friends, please forward all your handphone number to my email. My handphone was bought in 2003 , so it is not a colored screen etc – very basic. Good thing was I didn't carry my car keys and apartment Access keys.

It seemed that everywhere is not safe anymore. My friend's friend was being snatched in Damansara Utama last Saturday and was admitted in hospital for 2 nights.

My Director's lunch which I packed (in styroform) was smashed too…

Ladies, beware and be careful…. Usually when I go out on weekend or night, I will put everything in pockets—which means I only wear shorts or jeans only…
