Happy 3rd Birthday to JL

Yesterday was JL’s 3rd Birthday.

We had dinner in Italiannis The Curve on Saturday 17 March 2007 (only 3 of us) because JL wanted ‘white’ pasta. Then we walked around IKEA. Though it was simple but he was having fun. We were so late that we didn’t manage to get a small cake for him to celebrate in the Church Nursery the next day. However, we remember that King’s Bakery open at 7.30am.

The next day Sunday 18 March 2007, we bought a small blueberry cake at 7.30am on the way to church. JL was sleepy because he slept late the night before. However, he was too excited to sleep in the car and was trying his best to keep awake throughout the journey to the church. We pack small party pack for each kids but this forgetful mummy totally forgotten about balloons, whistle etc. So for this year kids would only have food. JL was very happy when everyone in the Church Nursery wished him Happy Birthday.

After church we went to KL Hilton for Meadjohnson Gathering. Then we went to 1-Utama for a walk to JL’s favourite--- Toys R Us. He slept on the carseat from KL Hilton to 1-Utama.

At night, PohPoh prepared some simple dinner at their apartment. After dinner, everyone (both PaPa and Mummy immediate families) gathered in our small apartment to see JL blow his candles and open his presents. This year, he wanted cake with Car-Lightning McQueen. Everyone got JL Thomas & Friends trains with tracks.

On his actual birthday, we actually prepared 2 small cakes (one to cut at nanny’s house and another one for kindy) with more party packs. PaPa took off. However, due to JL’s bad experience in the kindy (he has been not going to his kindy), he refused to go with his tears in his eyes. We decided not to force him since he was not happy with the kindy. It was quite sad to see Jeriel knowing him who enjoyed going to kindy but because of one incident, it really traumatized him a bit. He still enjoy going to Church Nursery which he had been going for quite a number of years.

Mummy came back from work and we brought JL together with KongKong to JL’s favourite SS2 Hawker Centre to take his ‘Pak Kor’ (Gingko). He took some fried rice. After that we walked at SS2 Night Market and a short walk to Babyland as requested by JL.
