Port Dickson 29-30 April 2007

It was a last minute decision to go to Port Dickson with my parents. My second sister also wanted to join. However, my youngest sister and her boyfriend cannot make it because she couldn’t take leave—saving her leave for her wedding in August & September 2007.

Othniel and I were not sure which to go and we were looking for 2 room apartment. Celine (my younger sister) suggested her regular place but it was fully book. It was too last minute to get my friend to book the hotel using her membership. Othniel’s colleague suggested that we go to Tiara Beach Resort because it has a man-made beach so that Jeriel can have clean sand to play with. Besides that also it has a mini waterpark.

So Othniel went to the Sales Office in Kelana Jaya to pay after making a call to check the availability. Even though, it was a peak season, but we managed to get a 2-room apartment with Country View at RM380 (cheaper by RM40 compared to Waterpark View).

On 29 April 2007 (Sunday), after church, we drove back to our apartment to rest and pack the car since the check-in time was only 3pm. We started our journey at about 12.30pm and took a slow drive to Port Dickson. Jeriel was too excited to sleep since the night before and he managed to take a nap during the journey there. We arrived and check-in at about 2.45pm.


Immediately after check-in, we changed and Jeriel wanted to play with the man-made beach and also the waterpark.

After that, we took our bath and down again to play with sand. Here was Jeriel version of sandcastle and how he destroyed it before we went back to the apartment.

That evening, Cheryl (my youngest sister) and her boyfriend, Lucas drove from PJ to PD to join us for Steamboat Dinner in the apartment. After steamboat, we drove out to find the nice satay mentioned by Celine. It was dark and we couldn’t find. Then we decided to stop at the public beach to walk in the night market. After a short walk, we decided to go back to the apartment. Both Cheryl and Lucas went back to PJ that night. On the way back to the apartment, Celine called me that Cheryl actually found the satay shop which was actually just after the public beach. Haiya, it was late and we were lazy to turn back. Cheryl and Lucas said it was good.

30 April 2007 (Monday), we went another round to the waterpark. Jeriel just love the slide. He went to the slide a few times (even yesterday) and he never got bored of it.

Then we packed and off we go without knowing where we should go for lunch. On the way out, we stop at the public beach to show Jeriel the actual beach. He refused to play with the beach because it was a muddy beach

While driving on the highway, we decided to go to Kajang for Satay in stadium – Haji Samuri. Then back home…was tiring and Jeriel was still excited.
