Miri – 22-25 Sept 2007 (Part 3)

This is the last part (Part 3) of my report for why we were missing of action

Also for those who wanted to know more on Jeriel's Chickenpox , can check here.

24 Sept 2007
We went to have Sarawak Laksa for breakfast. Sam Yee Cheong wanted to let us try special Curry Rice but the shop was not open.

We bought Jeriel a boot which was RM8. We were looking for yellow but then the choice was either blue or red (Check out Jeriel's boots at the photo on the right). Besides that we also bought lantern to play that night and pack lunch to go back to hotel. The weather in Miri was extremely hot. Sam Yee Cheong’s whole family went to our hotel/apartment to have a look at the apartment and also to calculate money to pay for the wedding dinner. Sam Yee Cheong’s father also requested the hotel to extend our check-out time to late in the evening.

Then, we check-out from the hotel and went for our evening tea which was Rojak and ABC.

After tea, we proceeded to a park where there were hanging bridges. Jeriel was so scared to walk that PaPa had to carry him all the way. Then, Jeriel played with a mini waterpark.
After that beach again… two beaches

1st Beach

2nd Beach

That night, Sam Yee Cheong’s mother cooked dinner for us. After dinner it was playing lantern time. We also tried ‘Buah Buka’ which was similar to our normal Durian but much drier the flesh.

25 Sept 2007
We had ‘Kolok’ mee for breakfast. This time, we tried the one with red sauce. We went to the beach again (another sandcastle project) and the beach had a nice playground which Sam Yee Cheong and PaPa also loved it too besides Jeriel.

We tried to get the special Curry Rice for lunch but the shop was still close. After cleaning up, we went to the airport to catch the 1.15pm flight back to KLIA. KongKong, PohPoh, Yi Yee, Sam Yee and Sam Yee Cheong would only fly back the following day.

So overall, in Miri was eatting and going to beach....

The End
