We are very glad that JL loves vegetables and fruits. He knows insufficient vegetables will cause constipation (in JL’s word ‘em em’ pain and cannot come out).
When come to leafy vegetables, he preferred the stems rather than the leaves because it is harder to chew and swallow the leaves part compared to stems.
Since baby, JL has been trained to eat green vegetables like spinach etc.
PohPoh was quite surprised when she took over to take care of JL middle of this year that JL loves vegetables like celery and green capsicum which even some adults are having problem to eat.
PohPoh said it was easy to cook JL’s meal. It can be as simple as all types of vegetables either soup (without salt) or stir fry with rice or porridge. JL don’t really much rice compared to vegetables with fish/chicken. The portion for vegetables with fish/chicken is usually more than the rice.
Weekend, usually on Saturday Mummy will cook a soup for the whole family to have with rice and JL’s all time favourite is ABC Soup. Sometimes, JL will request for pasta and Mummy or PaPa will usually cook pasta using tomato puree and capsicum.
Fruits are JL favourite. He will take one portion of fruits daily which is usually apple or pears. Sometimes he will take banana and grapes.

A great start to a healthy eating lifestyle...I myself LOVE veges and fruits...but for the past 1 month, my diet is mostly consists of meat, meat and meat...got to have more meat for a speedy recovery...now I'm trying to cut down on meat after a month.
Donno why many children don't like leafy vege. When I cook pasta, my children will eat any kind of vege I put in. They cannot tell becoz all cover in sauce.
It's good that Jeriel loves fruits & vege. My gals only like fruits and vege selectively.
