JL really do not like fizzy drinks. He tried once then he requested for plain water. So, we never had problem with fizzy drinks.
How about sweet drinks?
Sometimes he does drink box drink which is sweet. We do not have any in our apartment. However, sometimes JL will find it too sweet and ask us to mix with water to dilute it. When we go out to drink ‘Tong Sui’ (our usual place is SS2 Hawker), we usually ask for ‘kosong’ (no sugar), so the shop person will either avoid sugar and diluted the ‘Tong Sui’.
At home, when he requested for Ribena, Mummy will usually do diluted Ribena.
One day, JL came back and informed Mummy that:
“Mummy, KongKong don’t know how to do diluted Ribena. So I made myself and not so sweet..”
PaPa was a very sweet tooth person but now he still is but he already cut down quite a lot which Mummy is very proud of him.

i also like fizzy and sweet drink now..i think because of the pregnancy..
I guess he doesn't have sweet tooth, not my children. However they called the fizzy drink "spicy"...hehehe

yup...my friend's girl called the drink 'pedas' (which is spicy in Malay)
XY loves fizzy n sweet drinks but I seldom let her hv them. Even Milo oso I make quite diluted. :)
