JL’s update after the fall

A lot of people has been asking me how is JL after the fall. Mummy was so touch by all the concerns. So far since yesterday till now, JL was ok. He was back to his normal boy action, running around but we had to warn him to be careful and not to run so much because he did complain that his back head still a bit pain. As for now, he had no major swelling and no more vomiting.

Mummy was so concern that Mummy hugged and patted him to sleep last night even though JL didn’t ask for it. When Mummy saw him sleeping, it was such a peaceful and contented expression shown on his face.

In term on memory, we were not sure if he had lost any but so far he remembered his baby in Mummy’s tummy and he also remembered to feed his fish (yup, Mummy haven’t shared about JL’s new responsibility…). He was on his naughty and cheeky business as usual. We were happy to see him ok. That night, it was like a nightmare to Mummy.

Thanks for all the well wishes and concerns from friends via the blog comments, SMSs and telephone calls.

It must be a quite scare for u. Thank God he is alright. After a fall, especially on the head, the first 24 hours is crucial to monitor the child for signs of pressure on the head. External signs will be fever, nausea, fits, drowsy etc. You did the right thing to send him for a CT scan.

THANK GOD Jeriel is okay!
And i can really understand the anixety and helplessness as you waited for the hospital to announce the finding of his scans...

As i was reading your post, i remembered that fall Kayton had. He falled few steps from the staircase and had an emergency operation to stitch up the scars!!

Cheers to our two brave boys whom had pulled through their fall!! Nothing can beat them, their strength are way above everything...
