Power of the Prayer

Mummy was very upset when PaPa told Mummy a few months back that he needed to go for training in Singapore in July exactly 3 weeks before baby due date. Jeriel was born 3 weeks earlier than his due date. However, Mummy had no choice but to learn to accept it even it was hard to do. This training was important for PaPa. The main concern not so much on the monetary (we had to budget for PaPa’s transportation, meals and also accommodation), but Mummy wanted PaPa to be in the delivery room or Mummy rather be alone if PaPa cannot make it.

Mummy started to make a list for PaPa to do before he goes for his training. Then, Mummy also prayed that baby would decide to come out only after PaPa is back for training which mean end of the month of July. Gynae also mentioned last Saturday that there was possibility baby will be out early too.

Yesterday morning, it was something which Mummy didn’t expect. PaPa called Mummy in the morning to inform that he got an email that his training would be postponed to October. Mummy was so excited that Mummy’s prayer was answered yesterday morning. Some people would say October would be too early as Mummy still needs to manage Jeriel and baby. However, Mummy couldn’t ask for more because postpone of the training date is better than nothing.. At least PaPa will be around to see the baby being delivered.

So, this is what we call the Power of the Prayer.
