Last Saturday was another quite fast check-up but waited quite long. Mummy got to go alone with Jeriel because PaPa was busy with work. It was hard to manage Jeriel alone in such a long period because there was nothing to do and he got so bored playing with all the toys he brought along to the clinic. Mummy couldn’t walk much because usually PaPa would bring Jeriel walking around while waiting for our turn.
At last, when it was our turn, Jeriel was excited and even remembered the gynae’s name. Jeriel greeted the gynae’s name when he saw the gynae.
Gynae commented that baby was quite big and Mummy’s tummy was small compared to the baby’s size. Baby was about 2kg at about 8 months. Mummy’s tummy experienced non stop kicking and pushing by baby. At first, Mummy thought maybe she was not sleeping but on the other hand, maybe due to lack of space in Mummy’s tummy compared to size. So, baby might be sleeping and every movement would cause a lot of effect on Mummy’s tummy.
Mummy got to admit that this time Mummy’s tummy much bigger than the 1st pregnancy.
Why?
Because the maternity clothes which used to be able to wear till Jeriel was born is getting tighter and the maternity clothes which used to be quite big for Mummy even until Jeriel was born now is not that big to be worn.
- Mummy was 32+ weeks
- Mummy's weight : 63.5kg(an increase of 1.0kg from last weight on 24 May 2008, total increase of 10.6kg since 24 Jan 2008)
- Baby’s Weight was about 2.0 kg (an increase of about 0.5kg from last weight on 24 May 2008, total increase of 0.9kg since 09 May 2008)

well they said if we carry a girl, tummy is bigger...dont know if it's true...:-)

Oh, you are still so slim... Mine was horrible. My gynae asked me not to eat so much leh... My girl came out 3.74kg.... paiseh.

I think Emily was already 3kg at 8mths. Oh well, gynae said gals normally have bigger structure than boys.
yea, second baby, the tummy is a lot bigger. Usually the first pregnancy no one even notice you are pregnant, ha ha.
Baby must be absorbing lot of food from you,which is good....

Wow.. this baby prolly going to be bigger than Jeriel? But it's good.. if it's about ~3Kg when baby is born, easier to take care.
