Mummy was too busy managing baby and worst nightmare was engorgement and fever since Saturday… Thanks to PaPa who tried his very best to help up to take care of baby at night even though he was very tired with his work and housework. Yup, no confinement lady. PohPoh’s helped to cook the confinement food and deliver to out apartment.
Busy with hot pack, cabbage and pumping. Painful process and hope this would over soon…After all the pumping session, JL had been drinking some of the breast milk with his own milk. Some of the breast milk Mummy froze it. Currently Mummy had about 30oz of frozen breast milk (excluding about 10-15 oz being thrown away due to too long expose outside and was pumping to relieve engorgement)/. Maybe, later Mummy would defreeze for JL so JL also could share share with AL.
Having inverted nipple had been a challenging moment for AL and Mummy because AL had problem latching with short nipple. Poor girl crying but Mummy was and still proud of her determination so suckle.
Also, since AL was back from hospital, she had been on traditional napkin at home and modern cloth diaper when we went out to see doctor.
Will update soon in detail once all settle down…got to pump again due to engorgement.

Did you try nipplet? It might help with the inverted nipple. I do have it at home. But nvr use it. Email me you home address. I can send it to you as I am not using it at all.
Not enough milk also pening, too much milk also pening... are you using the nipple shield or something??
dont pump only when its engorged. feed on demand. i used a warm water in a bottle to ease engorgement.

so sorry to know yr situation.... emm, inverted condition must be a challenge! i think worst come to worst, feeding breast milk fr bottle also not that bad!!

Hi Chanel...have you tried using a soft shell nipple?
Both Avent and Medela have them, which can help inverted and sore nipples.

hi chanel, keep it up...u encouraged me a lot and because of you (captain) and the rest, I managed to BF wayne till 6-7 months...if it's not becoz of my hospitalisation, i'd hv BF him til now....thanks to you...so i m sure u can get thru this period....

I really dare not think of breast feeding..I'm so scared of it and I really salute u for your determination. I feel bad for Brandee when I hear others breastfeeding.
