Pregnancy check-up on 12 July 2008

Today (12 July 2008) check-up was quite a fast one and gynae did a vaginal check because the scan showed that baby’s head was very very pressing to the bladder. Gynae wanted to check in case Mummy’s vaginal had dilated or not. The vaginal had not dilated and still close, but Gynae could touch the head (so imagine how low was the head...). Gynae said good and let baby stay in for a few weeks to grow a bit bigger. Gynae also provided the hospital admission letter just in case and Mummy needed to bring the letter with the blood test result.

• Mummy was 36+ weeks
• Mummy's weight : 65.7kg (an increase of 2.2kg from the last weight on 14 June 2008, total increase of 12.8kg since 24 Jan 2008)
• Baby’s Weight was about 2.7 kg (an increase of about 0.4kg from last weight on 28 June 2008, total increase of 1.6kg since 09 May 2008)
  

From now onward, it would be weekly check-up. Time was running quite fast. Mummy hope Mummy could finish up all the remaining work in the office by next week just in case.

Last Thursday night (10July 2008), at last we managed to pack the hospital bag with a few more small items which we would pack just before we go to the hospital. The blue bag consisted Mummy and baby’s things which would be used in the ward. The brown bag would be the small item which Mummy would be using in the delivery room, so that we would not need to carry the blue bag when admit to the delivery room. In the brown bag, there was also the checklist for those items which needed to pack before we go to the hospital and an envelope consisted of the admission letter and blood test result. How about the green plastic bag? Inside the green plastic bag would be Jeriel’s surprise – very important. Hope Mummy didn't miss out anything....
