Setting up baby bed

Last night (09July08), we decided to set-up baby bed. The cot was all the while there because we didn’t dismantle due to insufficient space to store. It was more than 2 years in PaPa and Mummy’s room empty because Jeriel has been sleeping on the adult bed in his own room since he was 2 years old.

Last week, Mummy washed the mattress cover. Yes the mattress cover can be taken out and wash, leaving the coconut husk exposed to be aired.

Jeriel busy helping PaPa and also disturbing PaPa. Jeriel choose duck design for baby’s bed. What was Mummy doing? Mummy was busy taking photo with hand phone and drinking/eating coconut. PaPa had been busy cutting hard solid coconut for Mummy because a lot people said Mummy should take coconut. So, usually Mummy would have about 2 coconuts per week for the past 2-3 weeks.

Then, PaPa remembered that we had a mobile cot which was Jeriel’s favorite when he was a baby. PaPa went and took out to wipe. Aiya, PaPa didn’t have the right size battery. PaPa and Jeriel went down to grocery shop to buy some batteries. Jeriel brushed his teeth and changed into his pajama, before he started to play with the cot mobile. He was fascinated with it like a new toy to him.

Here is baby’s bed ready for baby. Everything from baby cot, mattress, cot mobile, bed sheet sets and etc was from Jeriel’s time. Nothing was new, all recycle except one thing, did you all notice on the right side of the baby cot, a white present?

Yar..Jeriel had chosen two new toys for baby and Mummy helped him to wrap. Jeriel would be bringing this present when he visit baby in the hospital. Initially, the present was placed on baby’s cupboard in Jeriel’s room (yar, baby also got cupboard like Jeriel). While PaPa was setting the baby’s bed, Jeriel walked to his room and said we forgotten something. We were wondering what it was… He came to our room, carrying this present. He went into baby cot to set-up the pillow, bolster, blanket and present for baby.

Next....hospital bag not yet...bottles haven't sort out and apartment messy especially pilling up ironing arghhh......

Thanks kittycat, actually we did get a surprise gift for Jeriel to receive from baby in the hospital. Jeriel didn't know about it. It is a suprise for him. Where is the gift now? In the hospital bag, so that was the only item currently pack in the hospital bag.
