Last night, Sam Yee and Uncle Lucas dropped by to visit Jeriel. Uncle Lucas was playing Duplo with Jeriel. They were building a house.
Sam Yee : Why your house no roof?
Uncle Lucas : No enough Duplo lar
Sam Yee : If rain how?
Jeriel : Rain rain go away, come again another day….
(while still fixing up the house using Duplo)
Everyone was speechless. That was the first time Mummy heard him singing that song all by himself because most of the time it was Mummy singing alone.

Actually, they are very observant at this stage & have better memory than you expected. Thus, expect plenty of pleasant suprises :)

o gosh... kitching, do u sing that song to yourself all the time.. me too.. I guess this is one of the few childhood songs that we hum to ourselves when we want the rain to pass.... I do hum to myself this song esp in this country that is constantly raining.

Duplo is actually same family of Lego but the pieces is bigger and meant for younger kids.

usually sing when driving with Jeriel in the car because he will say Mummy is raining. 'Rain rain go away, come again another day, rain rain go away, little Jeriel wants to play...'
